"I just got back from vacation in Orlando. On my last day I visited a store every one seems to rave about on the ORCA website and forum, the name of the store was Sea in the City. It wasn’t easy to find as it’s inside this small industrial park outside of downtown Orlando, When I arrived I was expecting a huge store but instead I was surprised that it was one of the smallest stores I have never been to. [Editors note: the store has recently moved next door in a much larger space;] However, what this store lacks in size it more than make up in quality and variety of the product.
I was impressed with how clean and organized the entire place looked, specially the tanks; there was not one spec of algae on the glass and the fishes looked very healthy. I was equally impressed with the SPS growth tank, it is very clean and the frags are shown in a very nice way, the mother colonies are in the same tank on the left and the cuttings already mounted on the right.
The coral frags were so nice and healthy I had no choice but to buy a few frags which I am acclimating right now, I will post pics later. Also, the owner was nice enough to give me a nice frag free for taking the time to go visit her store. The owner’s name was Marcye and she took great care of me while I was there. This store gets my thumbs up, too bad is so far. I encourage anyone visiting the city of Orlando to take the time to visit this great store, it is well worthy!"

"I'm from Knoxville TN. and visited SITC while in town recently. Marcye has a great shop and she and her staff were extremely helpful. She has an awesome selection of corals and has them priced reasonably. I made several purchases and all made the return drive back to Knoxville even African Blue Xenia thanks to the care they took bagging them for the trip."

"As a customer service professional myself I must applaud Sea in the City! You guys have the best service and most personal atmosphere of most any shop I have ever been in! I would wake up and apologize if I even dreamed of going to another store!!!!"

"You know I have to admit I do visit other places just to see what is out there face to face (looking online at pictures just doesn't compare!) .. and I did at a store today because of the part of FL I was in.. and wow Marcye would NEVER do what this store did and it is a true blessing we have SITC to visit , unlike some places that seem to allow dead coral to sit and decay in their tank and leave bubble algae, aiptasia, jellied rics and all other sorts of things sitting around. You'd think they'd yank the eyesores just for the sake of the tank looking pretty not to mention the health of the tank. At least I got to see a good example of all the stuff that can go wrong in a tank!
Thank you again and always Marcye & crew for caring as much as you do! I only hope some places get a clue on how to really take care of their stock!"

"I love this place!! It’s the best! Great staff, great livestock, very fair price. I have not bought from another shop in a long time. I found this place 3 months ago and we will be loyal customers from here on out!!!!! Good luck on the new lease and keep up the great work! There simply is no other place to shop if you are a saltwater hobbyist. I love this place!"

"Yesterday was my first visit to your store. Although it was even smaller than I imagined everyone was very helpful. Can't wait to see the new store. Much to my surprise not only was there a hitchhiker that we found before I left the store, but when I got home and put the free coral you gave me in the tank, there were multiple starfish on that one as well. There is even something else under the coral that hasn't come out far enough yet for me to identify. It has pink legs. Everything made it back to Titusville safe and sound. Thanks again, look forward to coming back."

"Marcye is Crazy!!! I just need to say, Marcye kills it every time I walk through the door. I have absolutely no clue how I made it out of there last night under $100, but she prices everything so well that I got some beautiful corals without breaking the bank. I don't know what you do over there to keep prices down and quality up, but whatever you're doing, keep it up. I don't know how many times I have, but I have to say this: we are just very lucky to have you as part of our community. Every time I walk in there, the quality is up and the prices are down. Just keep on being crazy for our sake, Marcye."
